DIRECTIONS TO THE POP FACTORY FROM THE WEST

Leave the M4 at Junction 36 (Sarn). At the roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted for BRYNCETHIN. Follow the road (beware of 30 mile speed camera) and bear right at traffic lights. Go through mini roundabout and follow the country road until you reach BLACKMILL.

In Blackmill, pass the garage on your left and turn right at the traffic lights towards TONYREFAIL. Follow the road until you reach the roundabout and take the 2nd exit towards RHONDDA VALLEYS. Continue to follow the signs towards RHONDDA VALLEYS, going through another 2 roundabouts. At the 3rd, follow the signs towards PORTH.

Follow the road up the hill, passing through TREBANOG, and down the other side following the signs to PORTH until you reach the main junction. Turn left here and follow the signs for Porth Town Centre. Follow the one way system around Porth until you come to LLWYNCELYN HOTEL. Turn right here keeping to the right lane. With the CHEQUERED FLAG garage in front of you turn right but immediately bear to the left lane. JENKIN STREET is the second street on the left, immediately after the pelican crossing, with a Spanish property shop on the corner.

CARS - Turn left here and security will guide you to park.

BUSES – DON’T TURN DOWN JENKIN STREET. You can drop off your passengers at the bus stop about 20 metres up the road and park in the car park of the CO-OP further along again.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO PARKING WHATSOEVER IN JENKIN STREET NOR IS THERE ANY SPACE TO TURN AROUND. IF YOU MISS YOUR TURNING INTO THE CO-OP CARPARK PROCEED AROUND THE ONE WAY SYSTEM UNTIL YOU COME TO THE RIGHT EXIT.

AS WE ARE SITUATED IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA, PLEASE KEEP NOISE LEVELS DOWN AT ALL TIMES WHEN YOU ARE ENTERING & EXITING THE BUILDING.

Leave M4 at junction 32.

Follow signs for A470 Merthyr Tydfil.

Take exit sign posted to Pontypridd/Rhondda Valley/Ynysybwl following signs to Rhondda Heritage Park – these are large brown tourist board signs.

Take 1st left at roundabout and at next 2 traffic lights go straight over. At 3rd set of lights (at roundabout) carry straight on to 2nd exit, signed Rhondda Valleys. Stay on this road to Porth following brown signs.

At the Heritage Park roundabout (pit head buildings on your left), carry straight on. Take the second right and follow the road until you reach the Chequered Flag garage. JENKIN STREET is the second street on the left, immediately after the pelican crossing,with a Spanish property shop on the corner.
